Eleven missions. One national effort.

UKIZ organises Britain's innovation capability around 11 fields shaping what the country can build next. Each campus brings together the companies, research, facilities, funding, jobs and people Britain already has in that field, wherever they are based.

Individually, the campuses reveal extraordinary capability. Together, they show what the United Kingdom could become if more of that capability were visible and connected.

A campus is not a site, a designation or a development programme. It is a lens on evidence that already exists and a record of what is still missing.

04Connected capability

The interesting things happen between campuses.

Campuses are not sealed. A robot needs materials, power and someone to certify it. A therapy needs manufacturing before it reaches a patient. These pairs draw on the same recorded capability, which is why a question asked in one is often answered in another.

Every record carries its source, the period it describes and when it was last checked. Each campus page ends with what is missing: facilities UKIZ cannot find a route into, questions still open, and coverage that is thin. UKIZ does not assert capacity, availability, investor appetite or willingness to work with you.
