How to use it
Kinds of finance, only where the source says so
Angel networks and syndicates, venture capital, corporate venture capital, growth equity, family offices, specialist lenders and venture debt, public and private co-investment vehicles, plus open funds and programmes. A record joins a group when its own published wording names that activity.
Tax advantaged investment
Schemes such as EIS, SEIS and VCT change, and eligibility is a matter for HMRC and qualified advisers. UKIZ links to the current official guidance rather than restating it, and never tells a company or an investor that it qualifies.
Describe a finance requirement through a Need
A Need lets a founder set out what the money is for, the stage and the constraints, without publishing anything privately submitted. Nothing is shared beyond the visibility the member chooses.
If an investor record is wrong
Investors can claim their entry and correct it. UKIZ keeps the original source and the correction together so a reader can see what changed.
Common questions
Will UKIZ introduce my company to investors?
No. UKIZ shows who is on the record and what they have published. Any approach is yours to make, and any decision is theirs.
Does an entry mean the investor is actively investing?
No. It means the organisation exists and published something UKIZ can link to. Appetite, stage and availability of capital appear only where the source states them.
Can I pay to appear higher on this page?
