Contribute
Help us build the clearest picture of British innovation ever created. We have started with the best public information we could find. But the people working inside Britain's companies, universities, laboratories, factories and communities know far more.
Four ways to help
Add an organisation, facility, opportunity or event. Correct something that is wrong. Share evidence we have missed. Every contribution makes the national record more accurate and more useful for everyone.
You know your part of Britain. Help the rest of Britain discover it.
Public sources can show organisations, facilities, programmes, research, jobs and events. They rarely show current capacity, emerging work, practical expertise, real needs and offers, or what an organisation is preparing next.
Britain's innovation record belongs to all of us. The better we build it together, the more we can achieve together.
Add what is missing
A company, lab, research group, investor, facility or programme the public record does not hold yet.
Add a record →Correct what is wrong
Out of date, mis-placed or thin entries. Tell us what is right and where it can be checked.
Send a correction →Share what is happening
Events, opportunities, jobs and funding rounds other people in Britain would want to know about.
Share something →Show what Britain can do
Claim your organisation, confirm what is accurate and add the capabilities and facilities only you can see.
Claim your organisation →Add it to UKIZ
What happens next
Structured
UKIZ turns your submission into a proposed record: what it is, where it sits, which Zones it touches.
Checked
We look for an existing record, test the source URL, gather supporting evidence and flag conflicts.
Reviewed
A person decides: publish, merge into an existing record, ask for evidence, hold or decline.
Share only what you are happy to share. Some details stay private and are used to improve matching rather than published. You choose what appears on your public profile. One accurate contribution can help somebody find the partner, facility or opportunity they need.
Automation never confers verification. A record only becomes verified through the same registry and source rules as everything else on UKIZ.
