Your record
Claim your organisation's UKIZ listingPut your own name to it.
UKIZ assembles organisation records from primary public sources. That gets a lot right and some things wrong, and it can never show what only the organisation knows. Claiming the record lets the people who do know keep it accurate.
Free. Reviewed by a person. No paid placement and no sponsored ranking, before or after a claim.
How claiming works
Step 01
Find the record
Search the directory for your organisation. If UKIZ has not mapped it yet, you can propose it and it enters the same review.
Step 02
Create My UKIZ and start the claim
Use your work email. UKIZ checks the domain against the organisation's published website, which settles most claims without any further correspondence.
Step 03
Say what you are claiming
Working there, representing a team, or being authorised to commit are three different things. Claims at the highest level are reviewed by a person.
Step 04
Correct and maintain the record
Fix what is wrong, add what public sources cannot show, and keep facilities, roles and programmes current. Every change is attributed and dated.
What a claim is, and is not
What it is
- A record of who is speaking for an organisation, with the date they said it.
- The right to correct facts, add facilities and capability, and keep roles current.
- A route for other members to reach the organisation through UKIZ rather than around it.
What it is not
- An endorsement, a rating or a badge of quality.
- A paid position in results. Ranking never depends on claiming or on money.
- Permission to contact members who have not asked to hear from you. UKIZ does not allow cold outreach and does not sell member data.

Questions people actually ask
- How do I claim my company's listing on UKIZ?
- Create My UKIZ with your work email, open your organisation's record and start the claim. Where the email domain matches the organisation's published website, the affiliation is confirmed automatically. Authority to speak for the organisation is reviewed by a person.
- Does claiming cost anything?
- No. Claiming is free and there is no paid placement, no sponsored ranking and no upgrade. Inclusion and ordering are based on relevance to the question being asked.
- What does a claim change?
- It records who is speaking for the organisation and lets that person correct and extend the record. It is not an endorsement, a rating or a verification of the organisation itself.
- Why is my organisation already listed?
- Records are assembled from primary public sources such as the organisation's own website, UKRI and the Companies House register. Nothing private is published, and anything UKIZ cannot evidence is left blank rather than estimated.
- Can I remove information or the whole record?
- You can correct anything that is wrong or out of date, and you can ask UKIZ to review whether a record should be published at all. Requests go to a person, not to an automated process.
- Who can claim on behalf of an organisation?
- Anyone who genuinely works there can register an affiliation. Speaking for the organisation, or committing it to anything, requires a reviewed claim, and more than one person can hold a claim on the same record.
